Character Project WIP VII

Still havent gotten a whole lot of time to test out 3D coat, but its such a nice feeling being able to paint directly on the model instead of painting on photoshop then going back refreshing the texture on maya and keep going back and forth.

Also I just realized that I messed up on the chest belts, so I gotta go back and fix that up before I can continue painting on this.

I was only able to play around with it for a little, but its pretty awesome so far!
I cant wait to start actually painting in the details!

Alrighty~ finished up the UV'ng! 

Now its time to start painting this in!!!! COMONNNN

Coming along nicely so far, but with school coming close to graduation things been buseey and work taking up most of my time as well...so I gotta do this during my little freetimeee! 

Character Project WIP IV

So I decided to go ahead and start modeling this character out! The hairs been giving me a hard time, but I hope it turns out fine after texturing it. 

Itll be simple geo and the rest will be hand painted in so I might be getting pretty close to finish this up. 

Character project WIP III

I think Im done for the character model sheet now.

Now I have two choice...to start making a simple rough block out of the model OR make a complete rendered drawing/painting of this character in some kind of action pose. I feel like the latter would be the better choice so I can get a sense of detail in the armor and what not...but I really want to start modeling this out ASAP!!!

what should i do....

Started working on the character model sheet!!!

It took a while to get the proportions right, but hopefully it looks good for now, the rest (back and side) will be worked on sooooon.

THEN ONTO MODELING!!!!
(oh but before that I might make a weapons sheet too to accompany this character)
